About CriticalFacilityJobsBot
The crawler Critical Facility Jobs uses to find data center job openings.
What it does
CriticalFacilityJobsBot reads public job listings on employers' career sites and job APIs, and lists the relevant ones on Critical Facility Jobs. Each listing links straight to the employer's own apply page, so candidates apply through the employer as usual. We don't collect anything else.
How it behaves
- It always identifies itself with this user agent:
CriticalFacilityJobsBot/1.0 (+https://criticalfacilityjobs.com/bot) - We check a site's robots.txt before adding it, and we don't add sites that disallow crawling.
- On career sites it fetches at most about one page a second, or slower where robots.txt sets a crawl delay. Only new listings are downloaded; jobs it already knows are not fetched again.
- It checks each site at most once an hour.
- It never logs in, submits forms or applies to jobs, and never gets around bot protection.
Employers: a feed works even better
If you'd rather send us an XML or JSON feed of your openings, or want your jobs featured, email hello@example.com. Listing your jobs is free.
To stop it
Email hello@example.com and we'll remove your site and its listings. You can also block it in robots.txt:
